This shot has more going for it in the visual and the subliminal realms than any other entrant I have reviewed for this contest.

High initial visual impact from the extreme color contrast between man's best friend the nearly empty tray - eye catching.

So much of the creativity of this presentation is evident in the camera angle on the dog and tray. The look of guilt after the fact is priceless.

What I have just described to you is could be considered the holy grail of advertising - an image that sells; Pizza, Dog Food, etc.

I wish I had a six. I think you got a winner ... Bob

Thank you Bob. You just gave me the ultimate compliment. Whether anyone even votes for my pics in these contests isn't worth as much as the impact it has. I try to stretch the corners of my mind to be creative with these contests. Post something that fits but is different. Same thing with my titles. If all it brings is a chuckle or other reaction, then I've accomplished what I hoped to. It means it was beyond the yawn level. Thank you. And Lucy thanks you.

I have one of those at home but she wouldn't of left anything behind LOL. A good photo should not only have good specs to it but must also tell a story. You certainly did that here, Nice work

Thank you. I've always got my eyes open for a good photo op. Especially with my dogs. I can look at the photo and just know what the thought bubbles above their heads should be. I think people must think I'm nuts. But I have fun with it.

Love the appearance you were able capture on lucys face, it's like she was saying, it wasn't me. It was also very well focused as you can see some of the small crumbs left too. Well done

Guilt by association is only circumstantial. I am sure that someone else finished the pizza. She is protecting the remints for you. The lighting and use of shading and shadows is most effective. The vertical setting is very well designed.

Oh yeah..he knows it's his but he is waiting for the blessings. Once given that pizza will be nothing but a memory..wink. lol. The clarity is great. The downward angle of the shot of this nice looking dog is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Oh boy does she look guilty, but as you said, at least she left you some!
What a great idea for this contest, I imagined all we'd get would be boring tables or plates of steaming food, this is so refreshing!

Lucy is beautiful, such a silky coat. You really captured her look of guilt and the almost empty food plate continues to demonstrate this. Her mouth betrays her too. I would crop out or remove the white portion of her bed or the sofa, whatever that is so that the focus can be on her and the almost empty tray before the contest is through.
