Exceptional visual impact, Pat.
The setting sun behind the evergreens generates subtle to extreme contrast - I like that in a winter landscape.
Soft highlights & faint shadows add a dramatic touch. Pin sharp focusing over a broad landscape.
Good perspective and a long depth of field gives this take some fine story telling ability.

Oh my goodness! If I had ten stars you would have all of them! What a fabulous capture of a serene Winter scene! From the sunlit sky to the reflection in the chilly water, the snowy trees have made an appearance along the rocky banks. This is an image I would love to attempt to paint!

This is so well done, the water is perfectly still giving a beautiful reflection, the sky is great with clear blue on half of it and some swirling clouds on the other half. Good enough to put on a post card, very well done.
