Would it be not too prudent to say this duck has high hopes. Full steam ahead, it will be hard on, seeing him disappointed. Thank you for sharing this presentation. Ray

Look at me look at me! You might be beautiful but look what I can do. You are boring floating around with no personality.
A beautiful image from you as the beautiful swan floats magically along the water wile the little duck puts on a show. Really well captured!

Your camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.

DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image.

Pin sharp focusing with Compact framing and fine ambient lighting.

Good perspective & long depth of field ... Bob

Hi Supergold,
I would call you by name but have no idea what that Is.
Your title is perfect for this piece as usual and it gave me a giggle. That duck looks so enthusiastic and the swan could care less. Ha ha.
You have captured a good deal of action and intrigue in this image. If it weren't for the hint of color on the bird's beak and crown, I would have thought this was in black and white.
Awesome job, my friend.

Lol..that swan don't want to be bothered..lol. the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this swan in the water with splash nearby is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Fred,
A beautiful stop action picture of The Mallard drake landing on the lake behind the Cob (male) Mute Swan swimming peacefully as if ignoring the noise behind him. The Swan's reflection on the lake & the spray thrown up by the drake are an added bonus. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Big boys go after big girls, I think. I like the playful light and shadows in this well taken shot! The small one appears to be protesting splashing water! Good timing. Thanks for sharing!

The swan is gorgeous, so erect and white from its tail feathers to its head. It is very gracious, but according to your witty title, should be just as gracious toward the less beautiful, little duck.

Most welcome. I noticed the whites caused by the little one more in this scene. Beautiful setting.

A very well focused photo of the Swan and duck, I like it how you were able to capture the splashing water and the attitude of the Swan, well done.
