This is pretty awesome, love the rocks shown with water, looks like a place that would need a lighthouse, very nicely done, does not look like it was photograph with glass, I have the same problem when I frame my work

Thank you, artist friend Lise, for your review and kind words. The print was framed professionally so I couldn't take the photo of it as well. The original I did for my daughter-in-law on canvas, so it didn't need a frame or glass. I suppose the oil is dry by now. Also, I did a really large print for our church foyer. In college we had to cut our mat and, later I would have framed various ways. I'd love to see one of your framed works. I know it is lovely. It is really nice to have you as a friend, an artist friend on the site. Have a blessed weekend.

Beautiful lighthouse scene. The colors in this are really nice, the subject of the image is off-center. I think that is a waterfall in the background? Peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for sharing!

As someone that used to own a frame and fine art gallery, I appreciate the effort and work that goes into creating this type of art. The work is very cool, and I can see this hanging in foyer. The color tones and rustic feel of the scene gives me the feeling of art that would have been created in the 1920's. Nice work.

Hi Glena, I love the view and can picture myself there. Love lighthouses and this is very picturesque! The sea looks a little choppy here, but there is something about the sound of the surf that I love. Love the way you presented this and the addition of the seagulls in flight. Thank you. I did go by a reference for this one with oil and his was mostly like mine. Perhaps I should have made it a more different but I know that the sea is supposed to pick up some colors of the sky and vice versa.
