The dog is thinking to himself.."soon as I hear the dog catcher's truck drive away, then I'll come out this tunnel!" Wink. Nice colorful creation. The depth is great. The dogs body form and language is great. The shading is great. The blend of the colors is great. The details is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and great job overall.

Ha ha good one! I love that so many people have made up a background story for this image. So thank you for that and for your great review.

Amazing Mixed Media Photography. Looks more like a painting although I know much can be done with cameras by experts. The dog and his shadow are nice and it is as though he is looking into the eye of a tunnel. Fine reds and best wishes.

Thank you very much Glena. It all started as a photo of a tunnel made of corrugated metal and covered in graffiti, that runs under a main road - it wasn?t the most appealing photo! Lol

This mixed media photo of a dog in silhouette is striking and evocative. The use of the silhouette creates a sense of mystery and intrigue, as the dog's gaze seems to be fixed on something just out of view. The inclusion of the curved lines in the composition adds a dynamic and playful element, drawing the viewer's eye deeper into the image. The use of color is particularly effective, with the red dominating the scene and creating a sense of energy and emotion. Overall, this is a powerful and thought-provoking image that will leave a lasting impression. Good luck in the competition !

Cool!
That dog is projecting a 'medium grade' Nervous Vibe and that's totally understandable!
( 'The Other Side' can be a 'nervy' place! )
That's an interesting,nicely unusual,and very enjoyable presentation,my friend!

This is good. The only thing I would do is blend the pink and the red under the figure and the black and red. I would also straitened the lines of red in the black.but that is all I would change.

I don?t really follow what you mean? The pink is something melted and solidified and the red lines in the black? It?s a photo of a round tunnel made of corrugated iron, I don?t understand how or in which direction the red lines could be straightened??? Maybe you could explain yourself better?

Sorry I couldn?t get what I was saying out. I mean how separated the colors are in the middle bottom like the red and pink they could be blended more. Unless it?s supposed to look like that.

Yes, I added a kind of plastic wrap on that bit, which caused the pink - the idea was to make a few areas look melted - which obviously (for you anyway) didn?t work! Lol

Wow! This is completely awesome to view! I especially like that you have included a dog in this scene as I love dogs! I get the impression that the dog is sitting there close to the exit of the tunnel as it's people are deeper inside the tunnel exploring ( that's just my impression)
This is so cool! I like the way you show tunnel and can see hat it is man mad, love the light at the end of the tunnel and the way it shines in red inside.
Love that dog and his shadow.
This s an eve a I might print and frame ! I can see the time and thought you have applied here. It's such a great entry for this contest , it's out of the box and extraordinary. Very well created, arranged and presented! Very best wishes to you in this contest

Thank you so much Pat for your great review.
I so wanted to use the tunnel for this contest and tried many different things - first it was filled with ghosts, then replaced by the Pied Piper with loads of rats and, not being happy with either, I finally placed the dog there. It?s always interesting how the simplest solution tends to work out the best!

A very good imagery as a result of all your collections and edits in this photography section. It has much appeal...a little dog in silhouette in that tunnel looking towards an unknown beyond. I like something with a story. The variations in red accompanying black is minimal and very effective.
