The gray heron is rather nice; the water is fairly pleasant; and the brushes and weeds okay. I didn't deduct a .5 but this scene is not as lovely as most of your outstanding photography.

The Heron may be playing hide and seek and you won with this great image. I like how the Heron is to the right leaving ample room for the detailed surroundings. This is well captured and presented with good focus and interest.

the bird is saying "wow i cant get away from this guy! so what the green birds says is true!" lololol.. cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bird by the water is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Each time I have attempted to get close to a big bird, he decides to leave in a hurry. The dark shade around the bird adds so mystery to the shot. The shaft of light on the heron is sort of a spotlight. Nice catch.

These birds are literally everywhere where i live. I like how they stand so still it makes it easy to get photos of them LOL. The green in the background helps the blues in the bird stand out more.

A beautiful picture of the Grey Heron standing in among the rushes on the lake's shore framed by the curving rushes covered shore line with the sky reflected on the lake's rippled surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
