Giving you five for being out in what looks like a really bad day to take photos, this does look bleak and old, wonder if you could have got a tad nearer to get the best out of this old building but again kudos to you for even going out...Brian

Well since its private property, I dont tend to go unless I see the people there, which today no one was in sight. But from this angle off the road this is an awesome shot, any closer and I would be knee deep in snow lol

Brings back a memory with the snow, my first time in snow i was trying to shoot the CP Rail show at night in a snow storm and got all these white lines, thought my camera died, ha, anyway nice photo, like the old house and the fence, well done

Great shot of this old house. The winter barren look adds to the mood of the shot. Almost Black and White but not. The depth is great with the barren trees in the front. Love it.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that house in winter conditions. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

What a lovely old house, it looks like they're letting it go to ruin, which would be a real shame.
Good photo of it, you've managed to make it look very cold and bleak and I love that it's snowing, it adds to the feel.

Nice capture of this beautiful piece of history and the awesome character. The snow helps to add a sense of mystery and beauty not otherwise present. Great work.

What a interesting photograph of this old house in the middle of nowhere. The cloudy, snowy day fits so well for this nice presentation.
Lise, thank you for sharing.

It's always a great day when you come upon an old house such as this.
This is well captured from a nice POV , the house is well focused , clear and well exposed. I think it looks awesome through the falling snow too!
Well composed allowing a good sense of this location. Well presented!

Looks a very cold and bleak day giving the old house an even older look. You have handled the exposure and white balance well for the conditions. Good composition although I find the pole on left distracting but would be difficult to get shot without it in - colors are good.
