An interesting image posted together with interesting notes too! Wonder why the composition LHS is not about the tiger? Details and tones are good.

This is beautiful first-done in pencil art. I had to look several times to see the beautiful section of the tiger's face. The other side is rather nice. As it holds abstract or contemporary qualities as well, I can see why it is considered a classic. Thanks for sharing. You also make a fine salesman.

Lynn, this came out great. I am sure this was a wonderful pencil sketch, but when you worked your magic with your process, your Tiger and Birch entered a different level of uniqueness, Pure magic and excellence. Ray

This is gorgeous, I love this image of the tiger partially hidden behind the birch trunk, waiting for the right moment to rush out and attack its prey. The detailing in the tiger is similar to the crackle glass in my Mom's collection of vases. It is a stunning monochromatic work of digital art worthy of more than 6 stars!

Lynn, This is awesome! Love the incredible detail you have! I also love the way you make the viewer feel the tiger is stalking them by having it partially hidden behind the tree. Images should always evoke some kind of feeling and this one definitely does. This piece of art is most definitely worthy of six stars! Enjoy! :o) Nancy

Thanks so much for the kind review. Much of what I learned was self-taught. I went back to school in my forties and now in my fifties, I do what I love to do. I often say talent can't always be taught, you have it or you don't. Sure you can learn things as you go but it's always building on that talent that is often already there. Take singing for an example, I could take as many singing lessons as possible but it doesn't change the fact my voice sounds like a fog horn on a cloudy day LOL. I love your work. It takes a creative mind to put those presentations together. And yes, to a degree I am kind of set in my ways to LOL.

worked with pens for over half century. mainly sharpie and bic. now one time i considered it until i talked to an art instructor who was totally disrespecting the sharpie and bic pens. i told prisma and copic you have to take out a mortgage to buy their pens. why bothered when i can make sharpies and bics do just as well. way cheaper..wink

The black and white color scheme adds an air of elegance and sophistication to the image, highlighting the tiger's striking features and powerful form. The use of light and shadow is masterful, imbuing the tiger with a sense of movement and life. This is a beautiful and skillfully executed piece of art that showcases the artist's exceptional talent.
