Amazing job, Great entry for the contest - good luck. Definitely deserves to be Recognized. When I first looked at it I thought it was a painting. Wonderful composition, framing, focus and dof. Love the colors and the layout. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Chuck, Thank you so much for the super rating! Believe it or not these elephants were created from a Luna Moth. I can totally understand why you thought it was a painting LOL I'm so glad you enjoyed this! :o) Nancy

This is so very cute. I'm curious as to what made you think of this idea. They say pink elephants is something that is seen after too much alcohol. But a whole trail of them walking on a floating path in the sky. That must have been a special blend of alcohol. Thanks for sharing. Very cute

I guess you didn't ready notes! Lol I got this idea from Disney's animated film "Dumbo". Dumbo is about a baby elephant with big ears who can fly. He has a nightmare about pink elephants everywhere. I wrote some of the lyrics in my notes. I'm glad you enjoyed my parade of Luna Moth elephants. Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi

This is gorgeous.. it would make a excellent freize in a children's play room or even in my bedroom!! I just love how you used a moth shape, how creative. The colours are a perfect way to show this off. Impact is wonderful.

Hi Brenda, I would so love to be an artist and paint images, but I don't have much talent that way! Taking a Luna Moth and turning it into an elephant is a way I can be artistic. It's fun too! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! Thanks for the great review! :o) Nancy

Yes a master at that but I bet you can do art. Look at some tutorials on you tube, watercolour is a good one to start. I still havent touched my tablet for digital, I think I am nervous of trying

The humour photography of pink elephants on parade is a creative and playful image. The mixed media approach, combining elements from different photos and adding illustrations, gives the image a fun and imaginative feel. The bright pink color of the elephants adds to the whimsical atmosphere. The addition of stars, supernova, and a pathway help to create a fantasy world for the elephants to parade in. The use of the Luna Moth for the floating head is a clever touch and adds to the overall quirkiness of the image. This one is a lighthearted and entertaining work :)

Nancy this is an extraordinary piece of work! I recognised it from Dumbo immediately! Wasn't it the dream sequence when they got drunk?
This must have taken hours to create and all from a photo of a moth! Amazing.
Now that I've tried a little digital artwork and know how hard it is and I'm even more impressed!

Hi Charlotte, Thank you so much for the super wonderful 6 star review. You're right about the dream sequence. I tried to make the outer elephants soft and ghostlike to fit the dream. So glad you enjoyed my efforts! Hope this brought a smile. :o) Nancy

My artist friend, Nancy, the theme is really nice and would have been a good song entry too. I know what it is like to miss the deadline. The elephants are nice. Some of the side artwork is a little faint but I won't deduct .5. You always do such fine work but this one is not as good as most of your outstanding mixed media, but it is adorable in several ways. I like the elephants on the move best. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Glena, The outer artwork is faint because it depicts ghostlike apparitions. Thanks for your note about missing the contest. Sometimes you just don't have enough time to finish your project. Glad you enjoyed my Luna moth elephants. I'm glad you thought the elephants were adorable. Thanks for letting me know what you liked and what you didn't. I so appreciate your reviews! :o) Nancy
