Very clever mixed media work and you can see the moth wings made into the ears. Love the colors as they parade and your perspective and sizing is good as you look to the back of image.

Hi Mary, The whole elephant head is actually the moth. I only had to remove the antenna and one of the tails on the lower wings so the elephant wouldn't have two trunks. I'm glad you enjoyed the image and felt I did a good job presenting it. Thank you for the great review! :o) Nancy

Very cute Nancy! Love the elephants and their variations of pink as they swoop downward. The repetition is appealing for sure! I like how you did the lighting and the stars. Cute idea, thanks for sharing!

Oh my stars! I adore this so much! It's amazing I love how the starfish became your elephant ears! Ha! Terrific imagination, Nancy! The pink agains the blue is perfect too. Love the lyrics too.
Did you ever hear the story about the elephants who attended their caregiver's funeral miles away?!

We need to conglomerate on something again, btw!

Wow ! I just read your notes describing your process ! So you created these adorable pink elephants from an image of Luna moths ! This is absolutely adorable, the pink elephants on parade are so perfectly created and it's impressive to see the way you show the distance of each elephant away from the viewer by their various size , the dreamy blue tones are the perfect background , love the floating elephant heads and stars in the sky too!
This would be perfect to be hung in a school classroom or child's bedroom, it would also be such a delightful birthday card face!
This is awesome my friend and such a delight to view!

How very clever of you to use the image of a luna moth to create the heads of these whimsical pink elephants, the eyespots are already perfectly placed for the the eyes, and the forewings make perfect ear flaps! This would have been so great for the contest, I'm glad you posted it anyway, love the pink elephants with the blue background, the entire scene is so very eye-catching and brings a smile to my face!
