You indeed have a beautiful view when this photo was taken, and I especially like the small pine tree you have included in the foreground. The cloudy sky is also especially lovely, and the distant mountains are standing out so well from it.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details, and the exposure is spot on. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
I also like the format you have cropped the photo into, and with the small tree placed off to the right, it is a very good balance in the composition. It is a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a great landscape shot with lovely colours in it. The horizon is a bit near the middle of the picture for me and I think that I would have taken it in portrait mode with that live tree on the right as the foreground interest (trying to avoid the dead one next to it). However, having said that the picture is very indicative of wild open spaces and does it well so good luck with it.

Love the landscape which shows the layers of the scene well. Colors are very realistic and the overall composition is good. Focus and dof are also great.

I'm not a fan of the foreground, seems to dark to me but it's just my opinion. Doesn't take away from a well-focused, detailed image. I love the mountains in the background. Helps tie the image together. Nice work!
