Thank you. Actually, I took numerious shots because they were so strange. I have seen many shelf clouds and this was quite different. I believe this to be a Jacques Cousteau cloud formation.

The clouds are indeed unusual. They appear to be very thick as if it s going to rain.
You have photographed them well and I like that you included the tree tops , they give perspective ,
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, nice tones in the B&W.
