This looks like a b&w photograph! When I saw it was done in pencil I was amazed!
My Dad made some pencil drawings and some watercolors, but all I can do is use the camera.

I like the title. This is fine work in graphite. The flowers are lovely. The bird is very nice, well drawn in this more difficult pose. If possible, how much even more beautiful in color. Best wishes in the contest.

Thanks Glena! I've wanted to get back into some sort of colored medium for awhile, and have some in the works, just nothing that I'm ready to post yet. To busy with real life to get anything finished, lol.

HI P.P.P., Love the way the flower comes into the image, the delicate look you gave it and the hummingbird on the wing! Everything about this image was well done! Your POV is outstanding as well as the details in both the bird and flowers. I even like the look of a cloudy sky behind the hummer. If this was in color I'd be falling out of my chair.
