Pelican watching the flowing water at the inlet

Despite the windy day, the pelican appears grounded, observing the flow of the water with quiet grace. The bird's body is in focus, providing a clear view of its intricate features, while the head is sliiightly blurred.
The rough sea serves as a dramatic backdrop, emphasizing the peacefulness of the bird and creating an awe-inspiring image . That's how I see it .

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that handsome bird. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

I find the pelican one of the most interesting birds I have ever photographed. The lighting and focus are good, and the contrast of the blue green water gives a nice contrast.

I like this photo. A classic scene. I have a large wood and ceramic statue of almost identical to your photo in a bedroom I decorated in a underwater theme. Unfortunately a overnight guest who slept on the daybed in there broke it. The only thing I personally might have done to this shot is to sharpen the saturation, so the colors would be just a tad more brilliant. But messing with what nature gives us is taboo to many. This was great timing. Nicely framed and focused. Nice details.

Nice capture. I was in Belize a few years back and saw a bunch of these guys. They always seem to wear an expressive expression when they really have nothing to say LOL. I wish the angle was a little more toward the camera but I know with wildlife they don't always cooperate LOL. Its a great capture, thanks for sharing.
