This is such a beautifully delicate photo, with lovely muted pastel colours, just perfect for this competition.
I love that he's perched on such a pretty flowering plant, it sets him off very well.
The image is beautifully sharp, with lovely detail, while the blurred background helps the subject pop. Exposure is spot on giving lovely colours to the whole image. Very best wishes for the contest.

Think although quite a nice image do feel its a tad to bright but also think the bird needed to be a bit bigger in the overall image in this,not sure why with your zoom lens that it was not in this...Brian

I like the the subject matter very much. I love birds and to see this one is a pleasure to see. I do see a couple of things to improve. I would have darkened the entire scene as it is a bit too bright and a tighter crop around the bird. This is only my opinion. Over all I do like what I see and wish you well in the contest.

What a pretty little bird. And the tree he is sitting on is very interesting. So dainty looking with fine white flowers. It looks like if any other bird were to land there, the limb would break. But this little guy doesn't even cause it to bow. The lead laying at the end of that limb almost looks like a butterfly. This is a nice shot with everything just perfect.
