This is a great close up of a cardinal. It is well composed and so sharp that you can see a reflection in her eye. Your use of the lighting and your composition are excellent too - good luck with it

You've got in nice and close, with great focus, giving us good and clear detail in his eye, beak and feathers - although a shallow dof has caused his back and crest to be a little soft, I don't think it matters at all as the essentials are so crisp. Colours are lovely and natural and the tight crop works very well.

She is well placed within the frame and is standing out beautifully from the soft green toned background .
