Gorgeous shot of this big guy in such a perfect natural setting!
The way he is hidden a bit by the brush peeking out, and the colored leaves on the ground with the barren branches crisscrossing above make a beautiful surround! Really nice!!

You have pictured this buck so well, and I like the way he seems to come walking out from the undergrowth of the forest. He is posing for you in such a lovely way, and he is also standing out well from the background.

The photo is pin sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in every part of the animal. The light is falling so lovely on the head of the buck, and the exposure is spot on.

The format and framing is perfect, and the buck has got such a fine placement off to the right. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Lovely picture of this handsome buck. Composition is nicely done and there is good sharp focus. I like how he is sort of posed, sort of like he's getting ready to bound away.

This is a lovely entry for the nature contest, funnily enough only this morning I wondered what beauty you might enter, and you haven't disappointed! Lol
Your camera technique is, as always, excellent, with sharp focus, perfect exposure and colour and beautifully composed, adhering well to the rule of thirds.
Unfortunately I'm out of sixes - again! I really should try to keep some for the end of the week, sorry!

Thanks so very much, Charlotte, i seem to have a tendency to post at the end of the week-lol! I usually run out of 6s, think they should give us more than 6.

You're more than welcome. Yes, I could certainly do with a few more 6s I'm always running out, so annoying!

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that handsome deer and its location. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

This is another handsome buck. That face with the antlers is well seen. The small amount of foliage in front is rather nice as are the leaves. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Congratulations on your win, fine title too.

It's a 6 for a 6 point buck! Absolutely fabulous and a sure winner. This has tremendous initial impact, excellent framing of focal point and nice, sharp imagery. It is an absolutely perfect portrait in every sense.

I haven't seen ANY deer around here this Winter ( or last Autumn! ),it's a very quiet Hunting Season here in the northeast!
