The expressions are fine; I like the young person's facial expression, who looks very kind, humble. The woman's is rather nice too. The individual with back turned looks more like the words you portray. The dog is sweet.

This is an interesting image , it appears that the couple seated at the table are in conversation and the lady on right has an expression of disbelief on her face.
I like the dog and the way it faces away from the couple.
This is well suited to the B&W,
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, nice variations of tones in the B&W.
Well composed allowing a good sense of this location.

What a different type of capture. I love the shot. I only wish the nun was not looking at the camera. I think it distracts slightly from the impact of the moment. My personal opinion, it doesn't mean this isn't a wonderful capture. Very clear and focused. It takes great skill to get an image in black and white to look good and you did it here. Thanks for sharing.

Nice photo Brian, a shame it's not just of her though, for this competition.
Tonal range is good, focus is nicely sharp, but perhaps a shallower dof might have blurred the background and eliminated some of those guy ropes. Nice composition with the four of them together. Good luck in the contest.
