The mother certainly has a look of deep love on her face, while the child looks totally exhausted - too much excitement on Christmas morning no doubt!
This is a sweet family photo, one to be treasured. It has excellent focus, dof, composition and a good tonal range. Very best for the contest!

Very nice capture. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of mother and child hugging is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

nice family shot and would i thought been more akin to color,but i also think b/w was also a good choice in this,they seem to be in a lot of sunlight which was not ideal but apart from it creeping in on the left its still a nice shot...Brian

This is rather nice expressive art but the pretty little girl looks as though she may be sleepy. The mother expresses love or understanding, or both. Perhaps the little girl is; she definitely hangs on to mama. The background may take away a tad. But it is still a nice capture. Best wishes.
