Nik,
This method of resurfacing roads looks very familiar to me. First they remove the roads surface then fill in the pot holes before replacing the surface. The Cones & temporary traffic lights are there to direct traffic passing along the road that can't be closed completely. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This makes an excellent photo! I particularly like that you've included no sky, just the Z bend and rocky outcrops, which results in excellent composition!
Your focus and dof are both good, showing great detail across the image. You could have entered this in the transport contest!

Your photography is fine and the road winding around in this shape is nice. The yellowish-green grass is rather nice. The rocks also depict how things really are.

A busy repair work on this winding road nicely framed with low grasses, freshly watered after the spring rains.
Wonderful composition and nicely presented.

I found myself wondering what the little truck was doing?, and why are there road cones? This photo definitely opened up my imagination. Nice work!

Very many thanks for your kind review! Reckon the road was closed for a while then the trunk swung into action.

This is a nice image. Good texture. Good depth and definition. It almost looks like a very large snake slithering through the lush green hills. Good focus and color. Good vantage point

That is some S curve through the countryside at Healy Pass, County Kerry. Must have been a hassle building this road, with all its twists and turns. Thank you for providing a look at County Kerry countryside. Ray
