What a memorable and touching story and scene. The statutes are nice. The sky is lovely as is the water. The platform they stand on is well done, the other part that looks like part of a boat. Hope the sons return or someone of kin learns about them, their fate.

This happened in 2015, there has never been any sign of the boat or its occupants. Shame, 2 young lives lost too early.
Thank you for your nice review.

You are most welcome. Yes, it is ashamed and so sad. Hope they are found. Are the parents still alive?
-
Yes the parents are still alive. This happened in 2015. The boys were young teenagers and the families are well known here in Jupiter.

Not sure where Jupiter Inlet is but I like the story that goes with the image. It brings it a certain perspective and emotion to the capture. Thanks for sharing it.

Great photograph of these two looking into the see as if they were hoping for the sons to come back to them. The horizon is tilted as Brien pointed up but so is the earth; they could be looking really faraway in the distance.
Thank you for sharing Orchid.

Tragic story for shore in this one,but this good have been so much better, first of all the horizon is not straight plus the railways behind spoil the view and i think you only had to move a bit to avoid them and more important the figures are not sharp in this.Brian

What a natural looking bronze statues with a tragic story behind them. Very sad indeed. You have shot it well. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A good looking image posted here together with interesting notes! Wonder where in the world you took this sad scene? Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!
