Spending time in Arizona, I find that I really don't miss the snow. At home we got another 6 inches today. The soft lighting and fresh snow give this a mystical feel. The glow of the light reflects and enhances the beauty of the setting. Thanks for sharing this very inviting scene.

That combination is what caught my eye as well Pat. There's something about an early snow, it seems different somehow.
As I write this we are experiencing our 3rd major snow storm of March. We have gotten more snow in March than all of December, January and most of Feb. combined. We call the snow from these storms "Sugar Snow" because it's maple Sugaring time.
This is a beautiful composition that is well framed and makes use of excellent lighting and is captured with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. The DOF is excellent for the subject matter and there is strong detail across the entire image.
A fine harbinger of what is yet to come, well done... Bob

Pat, it looks like you've used selective colour on this, but you haven't!! Or at least you didn't say you did! Lol It looks SO cold and bleak, with just that bit of orange to offer hope.
