This is a beautiful autumn scene over the Connecticut river , I love the reflections ! The autumn colors and the blue sky and water make such a pretty combination. I like the grasses along the foreground and the way they shoot straight up from the water, the far bank and its reflection interrupted by that mist that rises up from the water.
This is well captured with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!
I have found that I see the wildlife mostly when I don't set out to find it. I'm sorry you didn't see a moose as a moose would look gorgeous in this scenery.

Just like the Moose there was no one around but us shooters Pat. Also no power lines, motels, camps, paved roads and best of all the cell phones don't work.

Excellent image! I simply love the fog rolling off the lake. The fall colors help define the image and how the hills roll over towards the sky helps break up the scene. Focused and well presented. Thanks for shairng.

Well Bob this certainly was a great find although not what you were in fact looking to find. This is a beautiful scene. The reflection is shown so beautifully in the still water. Almost like a two for one of this very lovely view. Well captured and certainly worth the trip.

Such gorgeous color. This is so true to New Hampshire (I grew up on Rte 3. )
The way you caught such vibrant fall colors in the trees (and beautiful reflection of them in the water), makes me homesick for a New England fall. (Not too much color in the trees here where I am now)
The grasses you show in the foreground are just enough for me. With the layers of reflection and right amount of sky, this picture shows such depth.
I really appreciate the eye you must have to capture such beauty so wonderfully.

Yeah those grasses were the devil to work with. I usually keep the foreground water clear so I have an uninterrupted sky reflection. I considered taking the grasses out via Photoshop.
