A very expert shot to catch this bee mid flight. Not sure what shutter speed you used but being handheld it had to be fast.
The other thing this image represents is your vast skill in getting macros to mountain scenes to sunsets to wildlife, etc.
One of the most versatile photographers on FAR by far!

kinda wild..one my daughters was stung by a bee today moving stuff around her house. she is ok. just funny i pull this up after getting off the phone with her about the bee tale..lol. cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bee in flight is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Thank you so much Mark! I stood shooting bees a lot last summer and never got stung , then one day I stepped off my front porch onto my driveway abd a bee came out of nowhere and stung me in the neck. I didn?t even have my camera . Thankfully I?m not allergic !

Getting a image of a bee in flight is difficult enough. Getting one when the wings aren't blurry is even more amazing. Cool capture! Thanks for sharing.

Great stop action image of the bee in flight Pat. Your settings have allowed us to see it with clarity on the pattern of the body and wings. Focus is sharp on eye and lighting handled perfectly.

This must have taken a really good camera, a large amount of talent and just a little bit of luck, and a sprinkling of fairy dust to catch him in flight.

Thank you so much Charlotte! There were a lot of bees, I just bumped up the shutter speed to 1/3200, iso 200 and f 8. It was a bright sunny day ! I am honored by your six star rating!
