Nancy what a beautiful mixed media presentation with so many precise steps and skilled technique.
Great colors, details and suitable background that makes everything pop. Thank you for sharing.

Well it sounds like an awful lot of work, but wow it was worth it!! It's beautiful Nancy!
It looks like you've used poster edges, but have you? As it's not left those black speckles everywhere that I always seem to get!
Focus, colour, dof etc. are all just perfect, but it's what you've achieved in the editing that really makes this image a stunner!

Hi Charlotte, It is a bit of work but I enjoy doing it. I didn't use poster edges on this. I just used gaussian blur on the background then added a shadow for the flower. I'm so glad you enjoyed my image and thought it deserved such a high rating! Thank you so much My Friend! :o) Nancy

Holy cow, if I did that much editing, it'd take me 20 years! I admire your talent and patience. Great color, contrast, detail and editing capability.

This is so beautiful, Helvi. I think this is a Coneflower because of the pistil that pops up higher.
Some of my favorite flowers! I hope mine bloom this year?
Great job on photo mingling!
The green background is also a nice touch!

Hi Jewell, I think it's a coneflower too! I didn't know if Rudbeckia's were considered coneflowers too. :o) Love that you called this photo mingling. Thanks for the great review my Friend! :o) Nancy

Comment from Glena Jessee-King
That is the most unusual top on the flower; it is beautiful, like a beehive or special cake. The petals are lovely colors with the yellows, light oranges and reds on the tops of the petals near brown, but they are not as realistic as your usual work. Yet the whole is rather adorable. The background is nice as is the cut-out bee.

Hi Glena, I guess this Brown-eyed Susan is a coneflower. They always have those BIG heads on them. I wanted to give this flower a different look, but I appreciate you letting me know when you think there is something a little off. You know my work so you see it better than others would. Thank you for the great review My Friend!

This is unbelievable zNancy. Oh the time you spent. Through you descriptive process it allows the viewer to focus inward. Looks like veins on the head of flower. I do wonder if the wasp pierces each vein. Hmmm something to ponder on. Lovely and outstanding job you have done with your effects. Keep the world beautiful with your art. Blessings Always my FFF and hugs across the miles~ Cindy Sue
