The rendering of the petals is pleasant to look at, but the green ombre background isn't. It's because the background looks blurry, has an odd green halo around the foreground, and an odd popcorn wall texture. I like the composition and idea, but in this case, a simple single color background would have been sufficient and aesthetically pleasing. The styles of the middle of the flower and bee are also very realistic in comparison to the style of the petals. I believe the art would look better if the bee and flower middle are rendered in the same cartoony style as the petals. Keep going! :)

Hi Dione, The halo in the background is the shadow of the flower. I also wanted to give the background texture that is why you see the popcorn effect. I know you're trying to help with your suggestions so I accept what you've said graciously! Thanks for pointing out what you think needs work. This time however I like what I did! I always listen though. :o) Helvi

Another cool image from you, love the detailing in this,reminds me of when I over sharpen an image, which i tend to do on purpose with some of the deer skull shots! It is in deed artistic,love the color saturation on the flower and the textured green background; the whole image pops! Your artists notes are always so interesting; well done! :)
