A good choice for the yellow contest! I like the composition here, leaving the bottom right corner flower-less. I do usually like poster edges, but I'm wondering if these daffs might have been better without, it gives them an almost grubby look. I'd be interested in seeing the original. Of course that's only my opinion, others may totally disagree with me!

When I first looked at this Brian I thought it was actual Daffodils that had been given a very heavy dose of early HDR.
Nice idea including something else in the lower right corner. It makes all the yellow much easier on the eyes.
Your camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range... Bob

This is a fine piece of Photography. This clearly shows how we can find beauty even in small mundane things which we otherwise ignore. The entire composition, colours, light make this first rate. Well Done!

Hi Brian!
These sculpted ( or 'molded',or whatever they might call it! )
flower blossoms make for an interesting subject!
The picture transmits a slightly 'Ghostly' type of a vibe to me and that's something that I really enjoy!
'Good Show',my friend!

Thank you so much for sharing this, as well as the back story. What a fun find. Is the texture of dew on the flowers part of the sculpture or a stroke of luck while photographing? Either way, this is a pleasing picture in all regards. Well balanced and presented.

The daffodils are so realistic , these are such a welcome symbol of spring, I love that they are ceramics , I see water drops on the petals .
I can see that they were photographed with good focus, they are clear and there are good details throughout the blooms. Exposure is correct, the yellow color and tones appear true and natural. Your use of mixed media brings them into the art realm.
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!
