I would have shot this, too, it's gorgeous, love those fiery clouds contrasting with the blue sky. We go to Ocracoke Is. Of the coast of North Carolina, part of the Outer Banks, in September, I always love walking the beach before dawn and sunset hoping to capture the sky colors. What a beautiful vacation memory,and excellent entry for this contest. Congrats on your 100th and my very best wishes to you, hope you win with this!

I would have shot this, too, it's gorgeous, love those fiery clouds contrasting with the blue sky. We go to Ocracoke Is. Of the coast of North Carolina, part of the Outer Banks, in September, I always love walking the beach before dawn and sunset hoping to capture the sky colors. Your Sea Photo is really fine for the contest, especially the sky with its vivid oranges, blues, and some pinks, touches of yellows which color it so well. The shore is somewhat dark, contrasting to the sky, fine sunset. Best wishes in the contest and Congratulations on your Post Number 100.

Excellent camera management. Your camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.
The framing of your composition is sweeping in scope and presents the subject matter with maximum visual impact.

First thing: Congrats on your 100th post! :o) Love the breathtaking colors of your sunset Jewell. Lavender with a little pink coral and just a smidgeon of gold create such a lovely view. There is something so special about sunsets at the beach. This is one I definitely would have wanted to capture. Love the softness of the clouds and the gentle surge of waves. The lighting is very nice. It must have been hard for you to know this was your last night there! A lovely capture My Friend!

It makes me think of the 'blood dimmed tide' that's mentioned in a classic early twentieth century poem!
( 'The Waste Land' by an Englishman whose name I don't remember! )
That poem is a surreal and rather grim thing but this superb Beach and Sky Scape that you've presented us with is Inspiring!
