This is beautiful!!!!!! It was captured at the perfect moment. There is nothing that to detracts from it but yet doesn't add anything to it either. It's just there and it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing this! Good luck on the competition.

So amazing Jodi, I love the different formations. Cheyenne mountain is a beautiful sight out in the distance. Just knowing that it is the home of NORAD is a comforting sight. Very nicely presented. Ray

Thanks so much Ray, this is a fascinating park and much loved by the folks in the area. I sent this photo to one of our local news stations a few weeks ago and they showed it on one of their segments called Local Living. Some notoriety there!!!

A beautiful & dramatic picture of the Garden of the Gods with the rock formations worn down over eons of time by the action of , frost, rain, windblown friction by grit etc. As they stand out from the distant mountain under the blue sky & high flying fluffy white clouds. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Actually your photo is equally stunning, it took my breath away the minute I opened it!
Perfect focus and dof giving wonderful detail as far as the Cheyenne Mountain - which, I'm presuming, is where that tribe came from or used?
Exposure is good throughout - not an easy feat with such dark trees and light sky - giving lovely natural colours. The whole makes a very beautiful landscape photo, thanks for sharing.
