A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that touching scene. Textures and tones are good.
Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Fine capture of the hands holding the darling newborn. I enjoyed our commentary. And, congratulations to all on the pool birth. Whatever that is, it sounds so natural, wonderful. (Forgive my ignorance of this, please.) This is a very appropriate entry and best wishes in the contest.

Welcome, friend. Precious baby.

Great entry for the contest. You've captured a wonderfully moving image of your daughter's and the midwife's hands gently holding the beautiful newborn baby. The use of black and white emphasises this. Very good camera techniques. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

A pool birth? I didn't realize folks still do that. Interesting. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this newborn being held is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Thanks Mark, she went on to have another pool birth at home 3 years later.
