Your process of work and labor of love paid off. This is gorgeous, far prettier than most sunflowers, I think. The dew adorning it is wonderful. The greenery is nice and that darkened background makes it all pop. Glad you didn't use a sprayer as this process is natural, honest, and a winner. Best wishes.

l find it interesting that the water drops are crisp, and the petals seem a touch soft. The setting is fantastic. The lighting is well done. The tight crop is also well done and the black background gives the bloom a stunning and very effective shot.

Thank you very much for your great review! I did give the whole image a really hard sharpen before posting, I?ve noticed in the past that when reducing the size so much, images can often appear too soft - maybe it took better on the droplets than the petals???

A very beautiful picture of the Sunflower encrusted with liquid Diamonds sparkling in the light that's highlighting it's golden yellow petals & the green burst bud cover. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Best wishes for your move and six Stars for your determination and patience, to get the look you wanted. I'm not a photographer but I'm an artist and a human who loves flowers. This is a very pretty photo of a very completely dewy sunflower. I di like the contrast of dark and light too. And don't worry about how you came about this. Unless each of us had seen God places every sunflower where it is, how can we truly be sure that He, too, doesn't leave then out overnight, as you have? ;)) Alex
