This would have been a great entry for the Yellow contest! I don't think I have ever seen a yellow poppy, this is really pretty , very good focus and exposure, I like how you filled the frame with this soft yellow bloom!

Thank you so much Jewell for a thoughtful feedback. The center of a daffodil is different and the petal on the poppies are even more delicate than daffodil.

A beautiful picture of this pale cream coloured Island Poppy bathed in sunlight with golden yellow stamens surrounding the pistil in the centre. framed by green vegetation. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

What a lovely photo! I've never seen that colour poppy before, it's beautiful!
Your image is razor sharp and shows such amazing detail! I particularly love the shadows the stamen have created.
Exposure is spot on giving excellent natural colours.
