This is for sure an original entry into a contest like this, and very creative. The photo has an almost abstract feel to it, even if it is easy to recognize the sparkles. They are standing out well from the all black background.

I also like that you put it behind a solid object, but the photo is probably a bit on the dark side.

The tall format works well, and it is nothing wrong with the composition either. All together I think this is a great looking photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Yes it works willie for this but i do feel that post or whatever it is needed to be more lite up against the fireworks in this because the structure is a bit lost in this,but well done for trying something different...Brian
