A beautiful picture of the Tundra swan standing on an islet in the waterway busy preening with loose feathers scattered around it. It's reflection in the foreground are a bonus. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Lovely shot though, you've captured wonderful detail throughout with the sharp focus and wide dof.
The exposure is spot on, not always easy with swans being so white, well done! And the colours are very natural.
She may be nest making? Swans do build beautiful cosy nests, all lined with their downy feathers, and there seems almost too many feathers for just preening? Just a thought, I'm no expert!

Picky, Picky, Picky, he or she never noticed you were barrowing some great shots. The reflection is excellent, and the framing is spot on. My first look thought it was snowing. Focus and DOF is great. He has given you a great opportunity to photograph this natural beauty.

This swan was definitely busy in preening out the old feathers and was nice enough to not take off when i stopped to photograph it;cars do make excellent blinds-lol!
