I guess that the black feathered ones aren't all that common then!
That's a fine looking picture though,my friend!
I'm enjoying it very much!

This is a very unique photograph. The single black one makes this shot appealing to my eyes. Great contrast, color and detail.

Thank you so much Chaxl. It reminds me of when my disabled son was in mainstream school - on the edge yearning to join in!

Mag I please ask what your son has? I have Cerebral Palsy.

Of course, I?m a very proud mum! Ben has Downs Syndrome, so intellectual rather than physical like yours - but a very bright and determined young man!
I had read your profile, and it?s what drew me to you in the first place! Ben and I have worked with many different people with various disabilities in the fight for inclusion and equality here in the UK, but it is a bit like banging your head against a brick wall! How are things in the US?

Charlotte,
A beautiful picture of that floak of Mute Swans with a solitary Australian Black Swan looking as if it was asking can I join in?
Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Shots like this are fun and remind me of Sesame Street and that little song " one of these things is not like the other"
We are immediately drawn in by the beautiful white swans and then we see the black one moving in to the large gathering.
It's always a treat to see a black swan as we don't have them here.
You have captured this well with good focus, this image is clear and your exposure is well managed. I can imagine this one printed large and hung for display! I like it!
Well presented!

Thank you so much Pat! I was in contact for a long time with the lady who wrote Sesame Street, as her son has Downs too - did you know they were the very first tv program that included disabled kids? Hence the song!

Wow that looks just like my family reunion. I'm the black swan of course. They would get tired of me saying.."you got something against black?' then they all swim away from me . Lol. Cool capture. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.
