Congratulations in advance LeeAnn for this wonderful pose of your golden retriever with his beautiful body fur; I cannot even imagine a better entry to the "Pet Photo Contest";

Hi LeeAnn, Love Shiloh's laid back look and the way he's taking in the scene. Love the wavy hair on his chest too. Looks like he went to the hairdresser! I think it's a great shot with wonderful lighting and focus. Most of all I think you have a charming subject! Congratulations on your 3rd place win. You deserved a placing on the top three! :o) Nancy

Congratulations on your win with Shiloh, indeed a beautiful Golden Retriever. That pose is adorable as is the whole dog so lovely, relaxing, his front feet forward.

    Thank you so much for the great review and grand rating! Shiloh doesn?t like to pose to get his photo taken, so I seized this opportunity to get some candid shots of him!

Superb shot of your pet, a Golden Retriever. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, the colours and the composition have worked well. Good effort! I wish I had a six to give this great-looking shot. Good luck!

Well certainly a pet photo as such and although its a straight forward portrait of your dog the detail is spot on and certainly a nice pose as such,good luck in the contest...Brian

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of your dog watching the action in front of it. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely taken!

A very beautiful photo of a very handsome dog! And so well trained too - most would have leapt up and started barking or chasing, or both! But I suppose he's well used to your deer, and knows better!
Beautifully sharp showing great detail in his coat.
Good exposure giving natural looking colours - though the whites around his face are a tiny bit yellow? Or is it just my eyes?
Lovely composition with the wooden steps behind and the grass at his feet.
A very beautiful image, best of luck in the competition.

    Thank you very much,Charlotte, I?ll have to look closer at his eyes. He?s seen deer ever since we brought him home; one of the does walked up to us when I had him out in the yard, not knowing if he would run toward her or not i picked him up. She came within about6 feet of us and stood there looking at him over before walking off. So he?s been taught not to chase them,but occasionally he?ll head toward them and make them run off a bit; They are pretty much used to him, too, and know he won?t chase them. He?s not a *ham* when it comes to photos, so I was lucky to get this and some others.

    You?re more than welcome, he?s gorgeous! It was more on his muzzle, just under his mouth.
