This is a lovely scene in white and gray scale, white and black photography. The rock formations are lovely, shiny on the sides. The white cloud or whatever rising above it is lovely. The top gray scale part of the sky with the mostly one cloud is lovely too. Best wishes in the contest.

Welcome. Sorry about the death. We had another one, my husband's only sister or sibling. His younger sister passed two years back and my brother, Delmoe, the one I posted a portrait of him and his wife here on FAR, December 28, 2022.

I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to photography. However I think this depiction in black and white serves to show the ruggedness of the area without the distraction of color. A good perspective.

Such a nice choice for the contest, Canyon at Yosemite.
I recently went to an exhibit of some of Ansel Adams work, simply breath taking. He lead the way for many of the photographers of today. This is an excellent capture, the best of luck in the contest. Ray

Very nice photograph!
This is a pretty place to get landscapes. I have never been there myself but have seen many pictures of it. All looks good. The only thing you may want to increase the contrast.

kept seeing this contest and i kept asking myself who the heck is Ansel Adams. i looked him and now understand. many us non photographers are not aware of him. its cool though. nice capture. the angle of the shot mountain tops with cloud in background. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
