Hi Jennifer, I used gaussian blur on the background then added radial foil to it. The software I used was Microsoft Digital Image Pro10. I think that program is about 15 years old, but I like the way it works. Thank you for the great review!

You have captured the beauty of the phalaenopsis very well. The highlighted edges adds definition and the background serves to further highlight the flower itself.. good luck.

Although a really good flower photo as such i do feel its a slight cop out putting in a flower in a color contest,because there are so many flower contests on here as it is,but it is a good one...Brian

(said with a smile) I promise that any flowers I do post will not be your ordinary flower image. I like being creative and try to post something that has a little bit extra.
