I like this shot - it is simple but well composed and executed. I do love the piece of hay or whatever sticking up into the sky and the sky is very dramatic.

Thank you very much for your kind review. It?s the stick for controlling the oxen who pull the cart.

Gorgeous image Charlotte and the title is well chosen the Dry Season is shown with clarity. Love the cart filled with hay as it adds to overall impact. Color, focus and dof are all handled well. :)

Nicely done.

The composition is well balanced and attracts the attention of the viewer. The cart placement to the right commands the immediate attention and then naturally leads the eye to the farther reaches of the scene.

The overall brown tone gives the sense of the dry season. Even the cart itself is a dry brown color.

The sky has a nice contrasting dynamic look and feel which frames the scene very well.

Nicely done and a great entry for the contest. Best of fortune in the voting ~ Steve

You love the title name; you must be able to pronounce it accurately. The sky is pretty with the arrangement of the numerous clouds. The back mountains are rather nice; the front ground is ok, but the wagon with its contents adds a spark to that.

"Tsiroanomandidy", say it with a little rhythm and you could dance to it, Charlotte.

Let's see now how well does this composition bring home the theme - "The Dry Season", I opened this post, looked at it for a few moments, and got up to get a cold beer.

Wow this shot is awesome. It is grand of scale like a John ford western.

Your excellent camera skills are well accounted for in the fine focus, contrast and artistic framing - the hay cart makes this piece... Bob

Interesting capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this hay wagon with the dry rugged terrain and cloudy SkyView is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Cool,Charlotte!
That's a fine looking picture and it's not a scene that an unsophisticated old Yank Iike me was expecting from an exotic place like Madagascar!
'Good Show',my friend!
