The sky is good, pretty with two shades, layers of colors. The horse is lovely and the rider nice. I like pictures of horses, of horses and their riders. Looks like a thoroughbred horse. Thanks for sharing. I also like the whites in the water, not so much the foreground color.

Most welcome. This is different in or near the same location. I like this one better because of the pink cast on the waves and other features.

The camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.
Overall I like the post. But I think you included to much beach on the right. Less sand an surf would put more emphasis on horse and rider... Bob

The Horizon is sloping to the left but does not detract from the general view. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The Horizon is sloping to the left but does not detract from the general view. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A good looking nature image posted here, but it's not empty, it's covered by the tide! Pity your horizon curves in your composition. Sharpness and exposure are good. Reasonable try.

I can appreciate the depth of field that this piece has . You do feel drawn to the subject, though I get lost in the extra space presented. Care was given to use the rule of three with the bouy in the background but the scale of the piece and focus leads the viewer to search for more depth in the image.
