I am a bird person. They are my favorite subject . This is really unique. You captured the eyes, which is hard with these birds. To get this shot on a sunflower is awesome!

This is a lovely scene with much but just enough yellows in it. The goldfinch, though merged somewhat into the shadows, is lovely. It and its perch are so well merged into that nice background also. What a pose that you captured; best wishes in the contest!

This excellently framed, bright and colorful composition gives us an remarkable view of this lovely Gold Finch.

The composition is lovely especially because the goldfinch is set so prettily upon the sunflower. The colors are wonderful, you can almost feel their warmth.
The image is very sharp and the background color is perfect.

This is a great photo of a beautiful subject. I know how difficult it can be to capture a small bird and the expensive equipment necessary. I also highly value an uncluttered background. The colors on bird and flower complement each other nicely. Great work!
