I can always tell your art. There is a little something of you in most your work that makes it stand out. The art itself is wonderful but it looks slightly blurry but I am sure it's just a photo of the art, not the art itself. The colors pop off the page and the rainbow in the back is a nice touch. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much again. I believe it may be the photo. I've noticed several of my uploads or scans are not as clear as the real art piece. I purposely painted this background foliage thinly and changed the vivid rainbow to a fainter one to suggest distance.

The attention to detail of the focal part of this piece is beautiful. The scenery complements the subject very nicely without taking away from it and the rainbow is a great added aspect that ties everything together very well.

Beautiful colours, perfect detail and very alive! The branch could of been some what smaller, as it tends to steal the focus on the bird. But such a wonderful art work!

Thank you, artist friend, for reviewing and for your kind assessment. You really encouraged me. I haven't seen as much of your fine work lately; I always enjoy viewing and reviewing them. I am doing a portrait challenge, trying to get back to my son's book and mine, along with possible surgeries, so I won't be able to do as much on here.

Thank you for reviewing and for your kind comments. Yes, it is one of the most beautiful birds in the world. I painted the bird and scene in soft oil pastels. At first, I did the rainbow more vibrant as it was for another contest, but I didn't get it finished in time; so, I made it more faint for it to be more distant. I don't believe I have had a review from you but thanks again so much and welcome to FAR.

I gave a four and half rating because I was hoping to see more red, since it is a red art contest. There is a lot more tones of greens and blues in this picture before you see more tones of red. However, you did mention how you originally intended this for the "Colorful Art" contest. However, the bird is drawn beautifully, the feathers look very realistic. And you are an overall great artist!

Thanks for you reviewing my work. Yes, this was originally for a colorful contest and I did lighten the rainbow once I changed it as I couldn't get the work done in time for the contest. I am sorry you gave a 4.5 as I have red in the painting as I desired. Have a blessed day.
