Lupine in the intermediate stage as this one is can be challenging. However you have met the challenge and have captured an Lupine in complete sharp focus - well done.

the color is vivid and bright and sets a nice contrast with the mild background bokeh.

The camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.

This is an excellent entry for this contest, good luck ... Bob

I love Lupine, I grow them in a raised bed and this is one of many flowers that it presents, all different colors. Lupin is the name of a movie, you may want to change your title. This is a very nice picture and the bees love it. The best of luck in the contest. Ray
