Ah! This is so adorable. It is fine mixed photography. Thanks for your win also in the close-up photo contest. The sky is so blue. Amazing that you could capture the bird this way, magnifying glass and all.

Out-of-the-box entry indeed! The fine details of the bird and the subtle play of light and shadows add depth and dimension, resulting in a photograph that exudes both artistry and a deep appreciation for the natural world.Good luck!

Oh my goodness!! This is so amazing! Did you photoshop the magnifying glass into the photo, or was this actually taken through an actual magnifying glass? Either way, it's adorable.

Thank you Sarah :) I had a friend hold a magnifying glass up and took that photo. Then blended it with the closeup Bluebird photo I had taken a while back. Was trying to come up with a new approach.

lol...really my first thought of this bird saying "tweet tweet! what's it to ya!" LOL..cool capture and effect. love the magnification of the birds facial is cool. the angle of shot of this birds facial with you holding up a magnify glass is excellent. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and awesome work overall(clapping)

This is very novel way to present a close up, great Idea. Cindy this takes the focus off the bird and brings it into the uniqueness of the presentation and I think it is so cool. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

Wow, Cindy what a take you created. A simple uncluttered frame with an ultra high resolution center of interest - fabulous!
That is one serious looking bird. The detail and focus is exquisite. But the magnifier being held in a hand is just simply genius.
This is the most creative piece i have seen today and I gotta say it is one heck of an entry, good luck... Bob

Thank you so much Bob. Bluebirds do sometimes look a lot meaner than they are. I guess that is called looking down his beak LOL

Well,this is Cool!
It's pleasantly 'Out of the Ordinary' ( and perhaps a little bit 'spooky' if you think about it in a 'weird' way like I do! ) but it's also a very Well-Presented and enjoyable image!
'Good Show',my friend!
