Just looking at this, Jewell. I can see you must have cleared your mind extensively and left no sharp or intrusive edges. All curvy and loops. Looks very therapeutic to me. Just love your ingenuity and design techniques. The best of luck in the contest. Ray

Thank you,Ray. You would be overwhelmed and hopefully intrigued if you saw my stack of drawing books filled up with oddities and jewelisms!
    Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! This is so cool. THe internal shapes and flashes of faces, mouths and eyes give the feeling of someone inside is looking at me. I see million lines and shapes compressed in a Jack in the Box and the handle turns one time too many. Bang, these lines jumps out. How you kept them contained in the frame is amazing. This is just plain amazing fun. Great job.

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL piece! I always love staring into the beautiful confusion that is your art. I can see butterflies and bugs of all kinds but also curiosity and chaos arise from the edges. There is so much to say for this art piece but not enough words to describe it so I will just leave it at this. Amazing job!!

More complicated? This appears somewhat complicated, full of lines and circles, unique and common shapes. This is fine line artwork especially when done with one ultra fine tip Sharpie. Best wishes in the contest.

You are so welcome, my friend. I am doing a portrait challenge with an outstanding Christian artist who prays before the class, Matt Philleo, and trying to do portraits of a few of my family members, as health allows, the first being our grandson who graduated June 3, 2023 for high school.

By isolating regular forms of drawing through line art, we can fully immerse ourselves in its beauty, creating a sense of tranquillity and appreciation. This is anazing work. Good luck!

Yesss! Omg! I feel you! I have to take breaks from the intricate dot pieces to just let my hands be free with a doodle or a relaxed brushstroke piece. I love this doodle. And I love how your quirky style comes through just as much in black and white abstract pieces as it does in your colorful paintings. I adore your art, and I love this! Best of luck!
