This wild single rose is rather gorgeous. The vivid green leaves and stems in the background are also lovely. This is an outstanding capture of the setting, being able to include only one rose.

never realized they consider this flower as a rose. learn something new everyday. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this colorful flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A beautiful picture of this pink Wild Dog Rose ~ Rosa canina framed by it's green foliage. The light falling on it's centre highlights it's golden pollen tipped stamens with the pistil in their centre. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
