The clarity of the insect, the light shining through the leaf and the relatively gigantic shadow make for an extremely striking picture. Insect looks exactly like what we in Aus. call dragonflies.

Yes, we get dragonflies in the UK too, but this is a damselfly which is a lot smaller, about half the size, and they come out earlier than the dragonflies. I'm very much looking forward to the dragonflies arriving - they're a whole lot bigger to focus on!! Lol
