Good photography is where one finds it and thank goodness you took the time too look.
A classic frame repeated many times, and like finger prints no two are alike. The reflection is full and strong
Excellent camera technique augmented by skilled application of mixed media apps - beautiful results.

Shadow Catcher is truly a fetching image. The feather and its reflection are delicate and unclouded. The water isn't obvious which makes the photo a bit mysterious. I love the background coloring as well as that at the tip.
I can't help wondering what a bit more brightness on the feather would do.

very cool. the setup is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this feather and reflection is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

The exposure makes the surroundings nice and dark, but I'm wondering if it's slightly overexposed on the lower part of the quill - I can't decide if it is or whether the quill is just very white. But knowing the fabulous quality of your work, I suspect the latter!
Either way, it's a beautiful photo.

I had planned on entering this in that same one until I saw your entry, I don?t like posting a similar image because I don?t want it to look like i am *copying* someone else?s entry. Unless the contest was Floating Feathers-lol! I did edit the image to take some of the brightness out of the quill; I think it looks better, so thank you for pointing that out to me!

('Death is as Light as a Feather',a hypothetical story of the U.S.military's invasion of Imperial Japan late in World War Two after the nuclear bombings didn't bring about Japan's surrender ) to mind!
It's an interesting,inspiring image!
