The background is very nicely done. The fur is exceptionally nice and realistic, especially to be done in acrylic. The eyes are nicely done; they pop. The open mouth has many colors and shapes that you have done so well. It looks ferocious. You did a fine job indeed! This outstanding work has much realism, some semi-abstract aspects.

Welcome. You did a fine job with the different fur textures, artist friend. How long have you been painting and/or drawing? Doing the monkey in acrylic would have been challenging to me also.

I have been painting for almost a year now. I never knew that I could but I am loving it! It is so peaceful and rewarding. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to hear from so many other artists.

You've captured the aggressive expression, with the wide mouth and wrinkled up nose incredibly well, but it's the fur that I'm bowled over by, you've painted it with real expertise, I feel I can almost touch it (though wouldn't dare with those teeth bared! Lol). An amazing piece of artwork, well done!

Strong image of this monkey and would make for a good photo,have come across these monkeys in a zoo before but mostly been laying around and doing nothing,thats one of the beautys of art you can do what you like,of course you have to be able to paint,and you can,well done...Brian
