Such an unusual subject for a contest, well done you for finding a suitable shot!
Nice composition, but the background is a little distracting, any way you can darken it down before the contest? Not an easy task I know with the girl's hair in front of it.
Beautifully focused, with excellent exposure (not easy with the dappled light!) and a lovely tonal range. It works really well in black and white!

As I look at the photograph,the absence of colour seems to intensify the image, drawing me to look at it closely. Every line, every shadow, every nuance is meticulously shown.. Through the absence of colour, it brings back some nostalgia. Good luck!
